Full Upper Dentures or Lower Dentures
- Loose Denture Teeth :
On a full denture if your tooth is loose and it fits back together like a puzzle, the dentist can put back your existing tooth. However some dentures are made with porcelain denture teeth, and if your loose denture tooth is made of porcelain, there may be extra steps needed by the dentist to repair a loose tooth. We will contact you before any repair work is done if your denture tooth needs additional work.
- Lost Denture Teeth :
If your denture tooth that is lost is made of porcelain, it will be replaced with a denture acrylic tooth. The acrylic denture tooth will closely match the current color of your existing denture teeth. The dentist will also use an acrylic denture tooth that closely resembles the other existing denture teeth size, shape, and color.
- Denture broke into two or more pieces :
As long as your denture's pieces can fit back together like a puzzle with no large areas that are missing in between the cracks, each crack counts as 1 break. So if your denture is in three pieces, it counts as two breaks. There may be a small charge to fill in the gaps if the pieces do not fit back together like a puzzle.
- Full Upper Dentures Or Lower Denture Ends: :
There are a couple different ways the ends of the denture can break. If the denture ends break away from the denture but can be connected like a puzzle, the dentist can repair this. If the end shattered and there is no end to connect like a puzzle, you will need to supply us with a dental impression of your mouth so the dentist can use the impression as a guide to rebuild the shattered area. In some cases, the teeth may be the only things that remain. You will still need an impression so the dentist can use this as a guide to rebuild the end and then mount the denture tooth or teeth into their proper positions.

Partial Denture Teeth
- Stand Alone Lost Plastic Partials Tooth or Teeth :
If your plastic partial denture has lost a tooth or a group of denture teeth that are not next to any other teeth, you will need to supply an impression along with your partial denture repair. The impression is used as a guide to put back the lost teeth onto your plastic partial denture repair. Some plastic partial dentures are made with porcelain denture teeth. The dentist will replace the lost partial denture tooth or partial denture teeth with acrylic denture teeth that will closely match the existing teeth. If there are no existing teeth to match against, the dentist will use the standard ivory denture teeth that are used when making dentures. In addition, the dentist will also use the standard shape denture teeth are made with. Please call for additional information.
- Stand Alone Lost Plastic Partial Tooth :
Some plastic partial dentures are made with other denture teeth, and the lost tooth is one that stands by itself. If there exist partial denture teeth on the plastic partial, but the area where your partial denture tooth is lost stands by itself you will need to send an impression along with your denture. The dentist will replace the lost plastic partial denture tooth or teeth that will blend with the existing denture teeth on the plastic partial denture. This is important to know because plastic partial denture teeth come in many sizes, colors and shapes. Some are fat, skinny, long, short, and taper off to a rounded or square end.
- Loose Plastic Partial Denture Tooth or Teeth :
Sometimes plastic partial denture teeth or a plastic partial denture tooth may become loose. In some cases, if there is a hole on the plastic partial denture tooth where the tooth has become loose, there may be a small fee to add additional denture acrylic to the plastic partial gums where the loose tooth can then be put back in the proper position.

Partial Denture Metal
- Partial Dentures Metal Base :
Partial Dentures Metal base sometimes can be micro-welded back together. We do not repair this kind of break at this time.
- Plastic Partials Metal Clasps :
Plastic Partials sometimes are made with metal hooks or partial metal clasps. The partial metal clasp can be repaired with wrought wire as a replacement, however if your partial metal clasp breaks away from the plastic or if it breaks into two you will need to supply us with an impression along with your partial denture. The impression material is used as a guide to position the partial metal clasp in the right angle so it will hook over your existing tooth exactly.

Other Partial Dentures
- Flippers:
Flippers are partial dentures that have just one tooth. The usually have two metal hooks or partial metal clasps attached to each side. If your denture tooth has become loose, the dentist can put it back in the correct position. Sometimes the metal clasps break into two or the partial denture metal clasp breaks from the denture itself, if the partial denture metal clasp breaks in any way you will need to supply our dentist with an impression. The flipper must be in the impression material when sending your partial denture. There is an extra charge to repair flippers. In addition, please call for instructions on how to get an impression.
- Flexible Partial Dentures :
We will not repair flexible partial dentures because repairing them does not make sense as they will break again as you will waste an investment into the repair of your denture.

Emergency Spare Dentures
- No Dentist Appointment Needed :
Emergency Spare Dentures are made by copying your denture after it is repaired, or by copying a denture that does not need to be repaired. Each emergency denture spare is handmade, and it is not put into a machine where you press a button and its all done. The emergency spare denture is made for emergencies, and even though it is durable to eat with, it is made for those who want to have a backup ready to wear should something happen to their existing dentures.
- Low-End Dentures :
Some of our customers have asked what is the warranty on a emergency denture spare. If you were to purchase a low-end denture there are two things we can point out about this kind of denture. The cost for a low-end denture is double or even triple the cost of a emergency denture spare, low-end dentures are made the same way our emergency denture spares are made, and the low-end dentures are guaranteed for 90-days. So overall, the emergency denture spare has many similar characteristics of a low-end denture but the cost is 70% less than that of a low-ended denture.
One of the best things is there is no need for a dentist appointment that can even add to the cost of your low-ended denture. With the emergency denture spare there is no need for a dentist appointment because the emergency denture is close copy of the denture you give us to copy.
- Can you use the Emergency Spare Denture a Long Time :
To shed some light, the low-ended dentures are guaranteed for 90-days. Most low-ended dentures are made to last for up to three years. So to put the emergency denture spare into perspective as comparing its cost and longevtiyy, the spare emergency denture can last for a period of time when comparing it to low-ended dentures. Emergency spare dentures are perfect to save those embarassing moments are are priced just for that. The lowest priced denture, the low-end denture we've found was priced at $299 plus a $95 dentist appointment. This brings the cost for the low-ended denture to a total cost of $394.
We know our emergency denture spare is about 50% less than the cost of a low-ended denture.
- The Spare Emergency Denture Uses :
This denture can be used for short periods of time, a few weeks here and there but is not intended as a permanent replacement. Some have used it has a permamnent replacement, but also are in the process to save for a better quality denture for their next use.
